The 2010-11 season ended on a sour note for the Calgary Flames. After making it to the Western Conference Finals in 2009-10, the Flames were looking to make noise in the playoffs in 2010-11, but were evicted in the 1st round by the Dallas Stars, in a 7 game nail biter.

     2011-12, the Flames will once again be looking to make some serious noise in the playoffs.

There will be a few changes for the Flames this coming season.

Free agency could see an addition or two. Some depth on D if Aulie fails to impress and no one on the farm takes the bull by the horns and pushes the incumbents.

Up front we have the addition of Logan Couture who will sure to be a front runner for rookie of the year. There likely won't be any other changes up front unless it's by trade or free agency.
